This month the children have had some unexpected time off school due to political strikes. Like all kids, they love a change of routine! A bout of chicken pox is going around, affecting a few of the girls but the staff are doing a great job of isolating the afflicted! Capital Cause, who recently ran an online competition to “Win a Trip to Nepal”, raised $2,600 towards the ongoing costs of OHC. This has come at a needy time for us. Thank you to everyone who entered the competition in support of our children. A final reminder to those who wish to donate second-hand clothes for the children which will be delivered to the centre in September. There is a about 20kgs of luggage space left!
