Bijay

His story

Born in 1993, Bijay’s mother died in childbirth. His father remarried and left the children (in Nepal, a father who remarries doesn’t keep his children; the children of the new wife become his family).

He has a little brother who lives with a Nepali family in a village and another younger brother who stays at another orphanage in Kathmandu. Bijay went to a government school when he lived in the village.

His personality

Bijay is smart, handsome and talented boy. He is very musical and loves dancing and singing. He is also a good cook and cleans the house well without adult help. He is very conscientious and does very well at school – he is very actively involved in extracurricular activities and is currently learning how to make a documentary film.

Sponsorship

Bijay is sponsored by a Belgian family: Ute Klostermann, Jean-Martial Marenne and Enora Marenne (who was a volunteer at FCH). Please contact us if you would like to enquire about part or full sponsorship of another child from our home.
