His story:

Born in 1998, Kasmir lives at FCH with his 2 sisters (Punam and Kalpana) and his brother Sujan. His father left the family some time ago, leaving the mother no option but to go out and work – cleaning houses in the city from dawn til dusk.

Kasmir’s siblings are also sponsored by FCH.  They visit their mother often, as she lives just around the corner. FCH fully supports the mother after she had an accident that left her out of work and huge medical bills. We hope that by giving these children an education and love at FCH, they will have a prosperous future.

His personality:

Kasmir is full of energy, always playing and smiling. He is very clever and doing extremely well at school; he’s never afraid to ask if he doesn’t understand something and is one of the best students in his class. He listens well and is very compliant. He is also a very good singer!

Udpate

I always enjoy my time with Kasmir as he is an intelligent boy who holds an interesting conversation. He always wants to learn and writes so well. He likes drawing and enjoys his taikwondo lessons each week. He and Sujan share a bed together and are comfortable in the home. Kasmir is good at welcoming the new children to the home, showing them the ropes. His recent exam results put him above average in all subjects. Very proud of him!
